Ever since my big move from Australia to Muscat, I sort of lose motivation exercise-wise. Maybe its the new environment, or doing the same ol' exercise routines (running, crunches, push-ups) which leads to me being bored and a MAYJAH burn-out, the lack of equipments (I used to go to a gym back in Australia but now that I'm here, I've been relying on my trusty skipping rope, a resistance band & the park near my parents' house), or maybe it's because the people here are so conservative (they are covered up head-to-toe in their abayas) - ahem, you must be thinking what does that have to do with my lack of motivation...well, A LOT actually. Let me explain, I'm a visual creature and I realized that the one thing that ALWAYS manage to get my lazy ass off the couch is seeing other people in good shape. Nothing gets me pumping iron or slaving away on the treadmill like watching a Victoria's Secret fashion show - gawd! that sounds kinda wrong haha. I mean....who doesn't want to look like this:

side note: unrealistic as it is - it gives me something to aim for (though I'll probably never get there)
Anyways, my point being.... I need to stop being lazy and find some new ways to work out. Probably get some exercise dvds or join a class or something. They have a zumba class which looks like fun at the local gym but it's for teenagers?! I can always go for the pilates or yoga classes but must admit I'm more of a cardio gal. I like to get my adrenaline pumping and sweat, sweat, sweat! I did managed to get a pair of 5kg weights today so that upped my enthusiasm a lil' bit. My arms are starting to lose definition so obviously I must do something about it! Also, I have been looking at some exercise videos on youtube that I can do at home w/o needing more equipments.
How do you guys stick to your fitness regime and what are some of the fun ways to incorporate exercise into your life?
For those of you who don't know, abayas look like this:
